On this month’s employee spotlight, we get to learn a little bit about Mary Coster, a Project Coordinator/Manager at Applied Tech. All around, Mary loves the people she engages with at the company, both employees and clients. She thrives on the ability to identify what is needed for projects and being able to detail future needs to make clients have easier work experiences. What makes this even better is she gets to work with her son who is employed at Applied Tech as well.
Mary was born in New York but grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. Before joining Applied Tech, she had experience with World Banking, Finance as well as Business Management. Some roles she previously had include Office Manager for a concrete company, Accounts Receivable Analyst, and Project Coordinator/Manager. When she is not working, Mary enjoys bowling, darts, karaoke (in which she DJs as a second job), concerts, and travel.
The beach is where Mary is the happiest. Doesn’t matter where as long as it’s a beach! In high school, Mary was named in the Who’s Who Among American High School Students which showcased students that excelled in academics, extra curriculars, and community service. She was also a Suicide Hotline Counselor in High School.
Some fun facts about Mary are her favorite superhero is Iron Man, she admires Stevie Nicks, her favorite book is “Fun House” by Dean Koontz, her favorite movie is Top Gun, and she has a Siberian Husky.
Mary’s favorite motto is, “Everything happens for a reason”.
One of Mary’s childhood aspirations was to be a psychologist.
