Meet some of the incredible women on our team that are making magic happen here at Applied Tech!
Did you know that, as of 2025, women make up about 35% of the tech workforce? Even with this number continuing to grow, women are still the minority in this field and many women in IT feel that they are underrepresented.
At Applied Tech, we want to change that. There are many brilliant women in technology-related fields, both at Applied Tech and beyond, and we believe it’s important to empower these women who are supporting, creating, and spearheading advancements in this field every day. Click on each team member’s name to learn a bit about the women behind the MSP.
Cassie is a Service Desk Technician II at Applied Tech and has been working in the MSP space for 2 years. Before joining Applied Tech, Cassie spent a decade working in telecommunications. She was drawn to Applied Tech because of the small business feel and work/life balance that we offer. Her favorite part about working in this field is the mix of social and technical pieces she deals with on a daily basis.
When asked to to share accomplishments she is proud of, Cassie proudly stated that her greatest accomplishment is having a beautiful baby with her wife. Outside of work, Cassie enjoys LEGOs and spending time with her wife, baby, and three pups.
Angie has been in the IT field for nearly 15 years. She previously worked at Applied Tech from 2017 – 2022 and then returned to us in 2025. Angie enjoys being a part of this field and her current role at Applied Tech as Service Desk Technician III because there is so much opportunity to learn and grow in the MSP business and every day is different. Before joining the IT field, she worked as a Radiology Receptionist, which she enjoyed, but wanted a better career for her family. Her determination led her to attend PC Pro School to earn Microsoft certifications.
Fun fact: Angie was one of the first female technicians at Applied Tech when she first joined the company in 2017! She lists this as one of her greatest accomplishments along with raising 3 children financially on her own. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, family time, and being outdoors.
Morgaine was inspired to enter the tech field after attending library school where she discovered a love for puzzles, technology, helping people, and telling stories through data. She has now been in the tech field for 10 years, and with Applied Tech for 5. Her favorite part of her job as Operations Analyst at Applied Tech is being able to turn messy, ambiguous operational data into something clear, defensible, and actionable—and then locking that clarity in with good documentation.
Morgaine’s greatest accomplishment is obtaining her master’s degree. In her free time, she admits to being a bit of a gym rat. She also enjoys reading, hiking, and trying new food.
Drea has always been enamored with tech. Her love of tech led her to tinker a lot and end up being de facto IT anywhere she worked. Before (officially) entering the IT field, Drea worked in the finance and insurance industry, which led her to burnout. After being encouraged by her grandpa and mom to chase a career doing what she loves in IT, she went to college and secured her first MSP job 6 months after graduation. Drea loves being able to help people learn and improve their lives with technology in her role as Platform Manager at Applied Tech, stating, “You never have the same day twice in IT.”
Drea lists her greatest accomplishments as graduating from college, owning a home, and facilitating for Evolve Peer Groups to help others learn and grow their MSP careers, which is a highly rewarding experience for her. Outside of work, she enjoys playing video games (especially Pokémon), as well as traveling, gardening, DIT projects, and baking/cooking.
Olivia has been a marketing professional for nearly 10 years and has shared her expertise across many different industries before finding her way to Applied Tech in early 2024. Olivia has always had an interest in technology and enjoys being able to combine that interest with her love of design in her role as Creative Marketing Manager at Applied Tech. The IT space is the first industry that she has felt truly welcomed in, stating, “I have met so many amazing people at Applied Tech and beyond who share similar interests, sense of humor, and more with me!”
Olivia lists her greatest accomplishments as getting married to the love of her life, moving across the country to build a better life, and finding a career that highlights her strengths. Outside of work, she enjoys gaming, reading (fun fact: she almost exclusively reads horror!), baking, and spending time outdoors.
Valerie is new to the Applied Tech team, having joined the company at the beginning of 2026. In her role as Marketing Lead, Valerie wears many hats. From being a HubSpot wizard to organizing killer webinars, she has already made a big impact!
Valerie’s greatest accomplishments are her kids, who she is proud of having raised to be decent humans, as well as significant weight loss, and maintaining an active lifestyle. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her adult kids, spending time with her dogs and learning more about dog behavior, traveling (give her train fare and a backpack and she’s ready to go!), and listening to podcasts.
Jasmine was inspired at a young age to enter the tech field by her dad who works in IT. She attended take your kid to work day where her dad showed her a MOBO and she has been interested in IT ever since. Jasmine has been in the IT field for 7.5 years and with Applied Tech for 5, currently serving as Service Desk Technician III. Her favorite part about working in the IT is that this field is ever-changing and growing and there is always something new to learn.
Jasmine lists her greatest achievement as graduating college. Outside of work, she enjoys building things with her hands/working with tools, reading, walks in the forest, and video games.
From the early days, our mission was to help businesses realize the promises that new technologies could offer. That technology exists to serve the business and the people who make those businesses thrive.
People are at the center of what we do each day, technology just happens to be the environment. That said, we have hired and developed a deep bench of professionals that can problem solve most any technical issue simple or complex. And as a long time Gold Partner, we possess deep expertise with Microsoft technologies.
Our team’s number one priority is to serve. It’s how we hire, it’s what we measure and the focus of our continuous improvement efforts. Having fun is a collateral benefit of serving.
