Rob Burkholder

Rob is co-founder and managing director of Meritas Capital Partners. Prior to Meritas Capital Partners, Rob was a technology executive for more than 20 years. He founded NexusTek, a leading managed services business based in Denver, Colorado, in 1996. Serving as CEO and driving year-over-year revenue growth through organic sales/marketing efforts complemented by a series of acquisitions, he successfully recapitalized and exited the day-to-day operations of the business in 2014, and continued as a Board member and shareholder through December 2017 (sold to Abry Partners).

Rob brings a unique blend of operations, technology, financial, and M&A expertise to businesses looking for a partner in growth. Rob’s experience as a startup entrepreneur and CEO, combined with his passion for technology-enabled business practices, provides him deep perspective and insight into the challenges faced by business owners. Rob graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. in Finance, and earned an M.S. in Telecommunications from the University of Denver.
