The settlement, which is for $1.6 million, could reward victims with as much as $3,500 if claims are submitted by June 22nd.

Journalists from The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post have had their information leaked on the dark web.
More than 35,000 employee email addresses linked to these 3 news organizations have been found in data leaks over the past 5 years across over 116,000 instances. The compromised information includes names, phone numbers, birth dates, addresses, and thousands of passwords.

Around 27,000 people have had their personal information exposed after pre-ordering or starting the pre-order process for the Trump Mobile device online.
Through investigation, it’s been confirmed that the site leaked customer names, addresses, and phone numbers. However, there’s no evidence of the database of information being used by malicious actors.

Posts on a popular hacking forum claim that OnlyFans has been breached. The hackers claim to be selling 340 million user records including emails, usernames, and account activity metrics, which could expose the identities of users who value the platform’s anonymity.

Beacon Mutual Customer Data Exposed
Beacon Mutual Insurance Company is notifying individuals of a recent data breach in which an unauthorized person gained access to its network and accessed files.
The incident took place in January and the insurer recently completed the investigation into the matter. The investigation revealed that the unauthorized user had access to their systems for roughly a week and potentially gained access to information including first and last names, SSNs, driver’s license numbers, financial account numbers, and health and medical information.
