Top Cyber Threats to Prepare For In 2025

Here’s an innovative use of the Internet of Things.

Amazon has introduced its Dash Button — a Wi-Fi connected device that reorders your favorite product with the press of a button so you can skip the last-minute trip to the store.

You simply stick the miniature button in your cabinet or closet   — or wherever you keep you Milk-Bone dog treats, Charmin toilet paper or Diet Coke cans – and sync it with your phone. Use as many buttons as you like, which is easy because each bears the signature color and logo of the product you want (like Dial Soap or Tide Laundry Detergent).

When you are running out of your favorite product, push the button. Your Amazon prime account guarantees you’ll have your product in two days.

Watch this video yourself to see how it works.

And remember: this is just the start of IoT ingraining itself deeper and deeper into our lives.
