I remember as a kid watching Star Trek every day after school. It seemed like such an untouchable world, a place in time that only my grandchildren might experience or possibly even their children. But today I think back on the ear pieces worn on the USS Enterprise and how they resemble today’s blue tooth or how the ubiquitous cell phone resembles the gadget used by Captain Kirk to communicate to his crew. So what about human teleportation? Two weeks ago my son, a freshman at Colorado State University, informed me that he was offered an internship on campus. He’s helping develop a neutrino lab. This lab will observe how neutrinos interact with photons, also known as ghost particles.
