This month, we get to know Josh Wheeler who is in charge of Business Development here at Platte River Networks. Brought on 3 months ago, we already feel like Josh is family to us!
Born in Long Beach, CA but grew up in Oak Ridge, TN, Josh moved to Parker, CO in high school and has called this place home ever since.
Although Josh does a great job of increasing revenue through new client acquisitions for Platte River Networks, he studied Environmental Design with an emphasis in Architecture at the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to joining PRN, Josh found himself in sales where he worked for another MSP: Blue Cotton Tech. At Blue Cotton Tech, he did sales, operations, HR, and IT Helpdesk. He has also been a Senior Account Executive, Regional Vice President, and an Investment Advisor Representative for other companies. Adding to Josh’s wide variety of skills, Josh and his family like to hike, boat, fish, catch crawdads, go to baseball games, create, travel, paint, draw… The list could go on and on.
Personally, Josh is happiest when he is out in nature. “Being out in nature forces me to disconnect and be present and appreciate the world around me.” Holding a great amount of appreciation, we know Josh also appreciates the movie Good Will Hunting.
As a child, Josh wanted to be a fighter jet pilot and a professional baseball player but needless to say, we are glad he is on board here at Platte River Networks.
