This month, we get to know Summer Hatton who works as a Triage Technician at Platte River Networks. She has been with us since last July and says she likes being able to help others – and she always has. Summer says, “I think it’s rewarding to constantly be learning, and this position accelerates learning since we get to create and work tickets that are a hodgepodge of different platforms and issues.”
Summer is originally from Boulder, CO. When she is not working you can find her gardening and helping others garden! She loves volunteering her time at local CSA’s to help growers yield more. Summer loves the movie, Holes and her favorite book is, “The Mozart Season”.
Summer’s favorite superhero is Black Panther and when asked who Summer admires the most she said her Mother. Summer’s parents are both successful artists! Summer’s mom is a successful oil painter and her father has owned his own photo studio and gallery since the 70’s.
If she could be anybody she would be Activist Malala Yousafzai!
Summer’s favorite motto: “I only went out for a walk, and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in.” – John Muir
As a child, Summer wanted to become an astronaut! We are glad her path led her to us! We are so lucky to have Summer as part of our team at Platte River Networks!
