This month on our employee spotlight, we had the chance to learn a little bit about Samantha Johnson, a client resource coordinator here at Platte River Networks. Samantha has been at PRN for five months and enjoys helping people resolve their technical issues and relieve their stress. Her greatest joy is when she is able to help someone resolve an issue right away.
Prior to joining PRN, Samantha held many retail and sales jobs and interned at Riverbed Technologies for three years. She has also worked in many customer service rolls so she is not new to helping people with their problems.
Samantha is originally from California but moved to Colorado when she was 10 years old. She loves her family and they do all sorts of activities together including fishing, sports, video games, cooking, skiing and more. And she is happiest when she is curled up watching a movie with her family or doing her favorite hobby, scrapbooking. The person she most admires is her boyfriend, who has done so many interesting things throughout his life.
She is an animal lover and currently has two dogs. In fact, growing up, she wanted to be a veterinarian but couldn’t fathom putting down family pets so she turned her passions towards biology and technology in the biotech industry.
Her favorite motto is the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” We have to agree that’s a pretty great motto to live your life on. Her favorite book is the Great Gatsby and her favorite movie is a tie between Ratatouille and WALL-E. (Mainly for the hope they instill in viewers that anything is possible). Her favorite superhero is Ironman because he gives the vision that anyone could be a superhero!
