Employee Spotlight: Russell Dixon

This month, we get to meet Russell Dixon who has been with PRN for almost 6 years. As a Client Specialist, he wears many hats depending on the client environment and where assistance may be needed. Russell serves as a client advocate assisting new clients through the onboarding process, protocols, and tools to help better assist their staff. He can also be found working on scheduling and dispatching, calendar management, as well as service delivery. Most importantly, Russell loves his job because he gets to help people on a daily basis. It’s a little different than his childhood dream to become a professional baseball player though!

Prior to PRN, Russell worked as an Executive Chef at Troy Country Club in Alabama, he was an Inventory Specialist at the Grand Canyon National Park-North Rim and a Manager at Buffalo Junction Bar & Grill. He was born in Wise, Virginia, and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Troy University in Alabama.

When he’s not at work helping others, you can find him at the gym, hiking, playing basketball, watching movies (especially Goodwill Hunting), attending sporting events, or lounging by the pool. But he’s happiest when he’s playing with his kids or on the golf course. You can also find him hanging out with his 5-year-old Beagle named Nina, and 9-year-old Mutt named Boxer.

When asked if he could be anybody, who would he be, Russell gave a thoughtful answer, saying, “I would be me. Love yourself and if you don’t like something about yourself, change it.” He also lives by the motto, “Any day above ground is a good day,” and we definitely agree with that! PRN is lucky to have Russell on our team.
