John Connors is a Systems Technician for Platte River Networks and has been with us for just over a year. John has been in IT for 8 years and has plenty of experience. Prior to working at PRN, he worked as a Senior Systems Administrator, Helpdesk technician, warehouse clerk, server, and restaurant manager.
John’s favorite part of working at a Systems Technician is that fact that he is constantly learning new technologies and working in systems that are unlike any others. He loves assisting clients and resolving their problems. He provides support in a wide range of areas.
Originally from Longmont, John has two dogs named Big Moe and Sophie. John is happiest when he is at home playing Xbox or out on the green playing golf. His hobbies include technology, playing video games, and collecting comic books. When asked who his favorite superhero is, he had to break it down by Universe. In Marvel, it’s Captain America, in DC it’s Flash, and his favorite Independent superhero is Invincible. John’s favorite book is Without Remorse and his favorite movie is Point Break.
If John looks familiar, it’s because he was once interviewed by Fox31 while waiting for traffic during a blizzard. John admires the Dalai Lama and lives by the motto, “Life is the six inches in front of your face.”
His childhood aspiration was to be an All-Pro Guard in the NFL and if he could be anything or anyone now, he would be a writer. We are very happy that John is a part of the PRN team.
