This month, we get to know Jared Parks, a Premium Plus Technician at Horizons North Credit Union(HNCU). Jared has been with us for 9 months and provides on-site, front-line support for the employees of the credit union. He loves the teams at PRN and HNCU and the people he works with really make a difference in his job. Prior to joining the PRN team, Jared was an IT Manager at Aqua-Hot Heating Systems and a computer programmer at Data Dimensions Corporation. He has his Associates’s Degree in Micro Computer Programming.
Jared was born in Springfield Missouri but grew up here in Westminister, Colorado. His favorite book is The Good, The Bad, and Me by Eli Wallach and his favorite movie is Seven Samurai. When he’s not at work, Jared enjoys board games, video games, camping, and shooting sports. His favorite superhero is Batman.
He is happiest when he is spending time with his family. If you ask his wife where she found Jared, she’ll say Casa Bonita. (What an interesting story!)
As a child of the 80’s, Jared says all he wanted to be when he grew up was Arnold Schwarzenegger. But if you ask him now, he would love to be a professional hockey player for the Colorado Avalance. He loves hockey and it’s his home team!
Jared’s favorite motto is, “Primum non nocere” which translated means “First, do no harm.”
