This month, we get to know David Gonzalez, a Service Technician here at Platte River Networks. David has been with us for almost a year and is a part of the helpdesk but also is dispatched to clients when needed. For David, he loves that every day is different, and every day is a new learning experience. He loves to help his clients and learn more in the process. Before joining PRN, he worked at Wells Fargo Bank for 9 years. He then went back to school to get his Associates in Network Systems Administration from ITT Tech and worked for Worldpay as a remote desktop specialist for 2.5 years before joining PRN.
Originally from Plainview, TX, David always wanted to be a police officer when he was a child. His favorite book is The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, his favorite movie is the Matrix, and his favorite superhero is Hawk Eye. When he is not working, David enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. His family always finds an excuse to get together and have a good time. It doesn’t matter where he is, if he is with the people he loves, he is happy. As far as four-legged family members go, David has a French Poodle named Fionah.
David admires people who have failed and come back stronger. He admires their ability to fight for their goals and try to accomplish them. If he could be anyone, he would be himself but 10 years younger with the knowledge he has now.
