Employee Spotlight: Bill Krauss

This month, we get to know Bill Krauss, an Escalation Manager at PRN-Applied Tech. Bill has been with Applied Tech for over 5 years and provides day-to-day leadership of the escalation team, including managing human resources, daily workloads, individual KPI’s and mentorship. He enjoys building his team and watching them come together to solve problems and achieve significant accomplishments. Bill will head the new Escalation department for PRN-Applied Tech which will benefit our customers by solving the root cause of the problem so that it doesn’t have to be escalated beyond our team. He will also ensure that all clients are happy with the value provided by the team. He hopes to continue to grow the internal knowledge base and promote people within the company to become escalation techs.

Prior to joining Applied Tech, Bill was a firefighter, where he learned about dealing with critical emergencies and staying cool under pressure. This definitely applies to his current role in dealing with technology emergencies for our clients. Bill is originally from Waukesha Wisconsin and is happiest when he is with his wife and son. He enjoys gaming with his son (but not Fortnite) and Glamping (RV Camping) where there is no cell signal so he can spend quality time with his family! Bill loves Deadpool and any of the John Wick movies.

Bill’s favorite motto is “Go forth and break sh!t” which has been applied both in his role as a firefighter and his role at PRN – Applied Tech. You can’t learn without breaking stuff sometimes when it comes to technology.

We love having Bill on our team and know he will continue to make our customers happy by building and managing a great Escalation team.
