Employee Spotlight: Austin Dye

In this month’s edition of our employee spotlight, we get to know Austin Dye, a helpdesk technician at Platte River Networks.

Austin is originally from Oklahoma City, OK. He doesn’t have any pets at this time but loves dogs. His hobbies include drawing, painting, tattooing, video games, and renaissance festivals. In fact, he is happiest when he is with his lady at a Renaissance Festival or costume event such as Comic-Con. That, or when he is in a corner of a cafe doodling.

If he could be anybody, he would be the president of an animation or comic book studio. Since he was 8 years old, he has wanted to be an artist, specifically a comic book artist, and he still works to pursue this dream.

His favorite book is The Crystal Shard by R.A. Salvatore and his favorite movie is Wreck It Ralph. His favorite motto is, “Don’t fight it, just live it!” He looks up to Tim Hendricks, a tattoo artist that has endured a lot, and given the world a lot. Austin’s favorite superhero is Batman.

Austin almost became a police officer 8 years ago, but we are happy he ended up here at Platte River Networks. Thanks, Austin for sharing a little bit about yourself and being a valuable asset to the PRN team.
