COVID-19 Onsite Requirements for Employees and Clients

DETERMINATION: As a Critical Business and provider of essential technical support services, Platte River Networks will continue to support client needs remotely and onsite on an as-needed basis. PARTNERSHIP = HEALTH PRECAUTIONS ARE SHARED BY ALL

Our objective is to perform essential work with as little exposure risk as possible to both the employee and the users of the client environment. This requires that both the employee and the client are operating under the following guidelines.

PLATTE RIVER NETWORKS’ EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS

  1. All employees must comply with all Social Distancing Requirements as defined in the 3/25 Public Health Order, which states:
  2. “To reduce the risk of disease transmission, individuals shall maintain at least a six-foot distance from other individuals, wash hands with soap and water for at least twenty seconds as frequently as possible or using hand sanitizer, cover coughs or sneezes (into the sleeve or elbow, not hands), regularly clean high-touch surfaces, and not shake hands.”
  3. Platte River Employees must wear a mask and gloves while working at a client site.
  4. Platte River employees should minimize contact with users as much as possible. At minimum, always maintain a six-foot space from another person and implement the following safety practices:
  5. Isolate On-Site: Work in the server room, reduce your foot traffic, be a loner
  6. Contactless Delivery: Drop-off/ pick-up hardware in a lobby or common area and inform the POC
  7. Get-in/ Get-out: Ensure agent installation, verify internet connectivity and turn over to remote support
  8. All employees must carry bleach wipes or disinfectant while working at a client location. Employees must wipe down equipment before and after working on any workstation- even your own. Any bleach wipe or disinfectant with paper towels can be used.
  9. Employees have the right to leave a client environment if social distancing requirements are not being followed. The employee must notify their manager immediately upon leaving the client site.

CLIENT EXPECTATIONS

  1. We expect users in client environments comply with all Social Distancing Requirements as defined in the 3/25 Public Health Order:

  3. In addition, we expect users in client locations to wear masks in accordance with updated state and federal government recommendations outlined on April 3, 2020.
  4. Clients will be asked to make reasonable accommodations for our staff in accordance with Item 3 listed in Employee Expectations above.
  5. Communication Expectations for clients requiring on-site work: Per CDC workplace guideline set forth for all businesses, any cases of COVID-19, including “confirmed” or “suspected but unconfirmed” should be reported to Platte River Networks. This information will be disseminated through our Human Resources department in a HIPAA-compliant, confidential manner to potentially-exposed employees only. PRN ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS

As an essential service provider, Platte River will take additional precautions in an effort to preserve a healthy workforce.

  1. In an effort to reduce exposure for both PRN and the clients, we will limit on-site work to one person per client. If the assigned resource becomes ill or exposed, our ability to perform on-site work may be temporarily limited or interrupted.
  2. In the event of an exposure, we will follow all guidelines recommended by the CDC. This will include communication to clients that may have been exposed.
