CFO Brent Allshouse and VP of Sales & Marketing David DeCamillis attended the “Big Idea Project” as judges this week. The “Big Idea Project” is a turn-key system that allows schools and educators to make a difference. This preliminary round of judging took place at Horizon High School in Thornton. It consisted of four hours judging 12 different teams.

David DeCamillis, “We had the privilege and honor of seeing and helping judge extraordinary presentations from Horizon High School students as part of this project.”

The idea is to have students identify a need in society that they feel most passionate about, a need they could help change for the better. Then they work together with a business mentor to design their action plan and finally, make their “Big Idea” come to life. The project believes they are truly helping students become stronger future leaders by merging their passion with their talents. In the end they become the employees that companies want to hire and citizens that our community needs.
