With over 25 years in the technology field, Derek brings deep experience from roles including MSP owner and CIO of a national transportation company. He now serves as a vCISO at Applied Tech, helping clients navigate their cybersecurity and technology strategies. Originally from Wisconsin and now based in Phoenix, Derek enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and a good game of cornhole when he’s off the clock.

MacKenzie is recognized for her leadership in cybersecurity, having been named a 2025 CRN Channel Chief and featured on the Women of the Channel list for 2023 and 2024.
