Sam Hickler

Leader with Purposeful Solutions and New Ideas

Sam was born and raised in Denver, graduated from Manual HS and earned his BS degree in marketing from Metropolitan State College. As a talented artist, Sam also studied fine arts in college and founded the graphic design firm Studio H Creative in 2003. It was when Studio H Creative was hired to create the Platte River Networks (PRN) logo that Sam was discovered by PRN. PRN recognized in Sam not only a talented artist and marketing professional but a man with a gift for providing great customer service. Sam agreed to join the PRN team and has brought his creative approach to serving clients and solving problems to the dynamic world of cutting edge IT solutions.

Over his 16 year career at PRN, Sam has been on the front lines of department, process and product development. He has held multiple roles and built two separate departments after being the sole resource in each. Today, as the Vice President of Operations Sam oversees day-to-day processes across multiple departments including our Support, Strategic and Centralized Service teams. He is also highly engaged with the executive team as Applied Tech continues to manage growth and adapt to an ever changing technical landscape

Outside of work, Sam is an avid gardener, handyman, snowboarder and artist.
