join.me is a simple but powerful screen sharing tool. Presenters download the application and share the nine-digit code with the viewer.  Within seconds, the viewer is able to view the presenters screen.  The big green button gets them in.  That’s it.  Nothing to download.  No account required.

Sandy asks: “I was giving a PowerPoint presentation and the slides showed up fine on my laptop but when the presentation was projected on the screen a big chunk of my slides were cut off. How can I correct this so my presentation views correctly?”

Hi Sandy,

It sounds like the resolution of the laptop is not compatible with the projector you were using.

Give this a try next time: Adjust the computer’s resolution until the entire image is visible on the projector screen. To do this: Right-click on the Desktop > select Properties > settings > drag the Screen Resolution bar to a setting that will show the entire image. Usually 1024 x 768 is a compatible resolution setting.
