Applied Tech, the area’s leading outsourced IT company, providing technical support to a variety of small and medium sized businesses, is seeking individuals with experience in inside sales and customer service. This technical position directly interfaces with customers and sales reps to assist in product selection, pricing, and availability.

Qualified applicants will have training or education in the IT field, demonstrated ability to learn technical knowledge and ability to prioritize and organize workload. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service/sales is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required, as are excellent verbal and written skills. Knowledge of desktop and server hardware, Microsoft software and vendor management is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and growing new and existing relationships
  • Producing accurate hardware and software quotes to clients, as well as ordering products, and product research as needed. 
  • Assist with maintaining up-to-date and accurate count of receivables 
  •  Process incoming orders and checking on order statuses
  • Act as the backup help desk operator and answering incoming customer/vendor calls
  • Assist with all aspects of the sales process. The CSR will also be responsible to log incoming help desk cases and assist technicians with product information and pricing
  • Review open cases and then send out monthly Executive Reports
  • Record and track all client activities, opportunities, and sales stages in CRM
  • Assisting with vendor relationships
  • Follow up on client concerns and satisfaction with Applied Tech’s service
  • Maintaining accurate count of inventory items and assisting with product returns
  • Assist technicians with daily cleanup of alerts/ maintaining patch management schedule and antivirus updates
  • Assisting with Advisory meetings – 9- 12 months
  • Formulate cell phone plans for clients and order necessary equipment
  • Keeping Microsoft software organized
